Czech Medical Herbs

Wholesales Pharmaceuticals Distribution

Czech Medical Herbs became the very first importer of Medical Grade Cannabis to Czech pharmacies in 2014. Nowadays the company distributes Medical Grade Cannabis of worldwide leading Canadian companies – Tilray, Aurora and FV Pharma. The focus is, at present time, only on dried Cannabis flowers; the more sophisticated products like extracts and pharmaceuticals are awaited along with gradual clinical demands and amendments of the law on both a worldwide and local level. There is one official Medical Cannabis grower in the Czech Republic. However, growing in the Czech Republic did not meet patients’ expectations in terms of price, variety of strains and volume so far. In this light there is a qualified guess that import of cannabinoids will exceed the local growing for the next few years. The Czech Republic intends to implement 90% reimbursement from a health insurance policy for every applicable patient, starting 2020. That is why we expect a substantial sales increase next year in the Czech Republic.

Botanical research

There are few research organizations established by government, which are entitled to run breeding Cannabis programs and Cannabinoids research in the Czech Republic. These special research licenses are granted by the Czech Ministry of Health. CMH has a close cooperation with two research organizations. CMH helped to established cooperation between an Australian company and a
Czech research institution in 2016. In this case the research is focused on breeding strains suitable for the pharmaceutical industry and tissue culture research. Since the initial contact, CMH has outsourced day-to-day managerial functions locally for an Australian investor. The service provided by CMH covers recruitment, functional guidance, reporting, export/import licenses of a plant
material, accounting, law and tax advisory.

Official Growing License

Czech Medical Herbs is ready and plans to apply for an official growing license as soon as the authorities will install market economy principles instead of non-profitable planned economy currently being used. CMH is capable of meeting qualifications factors as proved in 2014, when CMH was a finalist for a final price offer.
